PlayLab Rebranding - From Merecl to PlayLab
The PlayLab logo uses a top view of a burning fire on a stone stack, to demonstrate the company evolution.
With the satisfying basis of game design and development, PlayLab is honor to take a step further and undergoes a rebrand in 2009. We would like to reinforce the company contribution to game industry, by focusing on meaningful games.
A stone stack represents the gathering and sharing of experience in human history. Likewise, PlayLab gathers talents in the industry, and share their expertise to trigger the fire of evolutionary ideas. In addition, the spiral uprising motion of the fire spot symbolize the dynamic energy of the company’s creativities.
Grey, the color of the stone stack, represents the strong foundation --- strong business, design and technology background. The accented and contrasted uprising color spot give a sense of innovation and liveliness, which is the spirit that make us unique, outstanding and successful in the market position.
